History
1967
- After 5 1/2 years, Pastor Strohl resigned to take the pastorate at Maple Shade.
- In February Stanley Earman was elected our first lay president.
- In March, Anna Hyder resigned.
- In August the Rev. John M. Elstad was called as our third pastor.
1968/69
- After deciding that the first unit would become the permanent church structure, pews and carpeting and a new Allen organ were purchased and/or given as memorials.
- The altar was removed from the wall and made into a free-standing altar so that the pastor could face the congregation from behind it.
1974
- Pastor Elstad resigned to accept a call to St. Thomas in Bricktown in April.
- The Rev. John C. Pfisterer accepted a call to become St. Paul's fourth minister in September.
