Church Council News

Among the items discussed at the November church council meeting were:
• Some money left over from the gift given to us by Bygland Lutheran Church in Minnesota after Superstorm Sandy is being donated to help a mother and son from the congregation of Peace Lutheran Church in Pasadena, Texas. The funds will help them make repairs to their trailer from Hurricane Harvey that FEMA won't cover.

• New sound equipment has arrived and will be soon be installed and used. This will also be used by the musicians in the other congregations who use the St. Paul's sanctuary, cutting down on the wear-and-tear caused by moving equipment in and out. It will also free up space currently used by those congregations' equipment. 

• The Memorial Garden Committee has drafted agreements, by-laws, and terms and conditions that will be voted upon during January's congregational meeting.
