6/17/2016 0 Comments Summer Worship InspiresStarting Sunday, June 26, our Sunday morning worship will begin at 9:30 a.m. We will continue to worship at 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Even the time changes and we usually dress a little more casually, God is still the center of our worship, and by God's grace our hearts are filled with love, joy, peace and all the fruits of the Spirit among us. Here's some highlights of what's in store in worship this summer.
Pastor Krombholz's sermon series on Galatians continues into July. In this series we are hearing the Gospel of Jesus, how the Gospel unites us a God's people, how the Law and the Gospel work together to bring an end to the old and give life to the new in the power of the Spirit, and how God sends us into the world to free people from sin, death and the power of the devil. Special musical offerings. Throughout the summer, we encourage members of all ages to share their musical gifts as part of the offering. If you or your family would like to offer your musical talents in worship, talk to Pastor or Stefeny Stofa Krombholz, We're putting together the schedule now. Guest preachers, new service music and other surprises. Grounded in God's Word and the Sacrament and faithful to our Lutheran tradition, in the summer we can explore some new and different music and musical styles, hear God's Word spoken in different styles by different voices and rejoice in the diversity of gifts God uses to share the good new. Invite your friends. Summer is also a great time to invite your friends to join you in worship. Maybe you can plan worship, dinner and movie together on Saturday night; or follow 9:30 a.m. worship with brunch together or trip to shore. Be creative and open to the moving of the Holy Spirit!
